Fidelis Chinagorom is a Public Health Scientist whose interest covers the various critical aspects of the general public. He is an internationally certified auditor in Food safety management system- FSMS (ISO 22000:2018), Certified in Occupational health and safety system- OH&MS (ISO 45001:2018), Certified in Environmental management system-EMS (ISO 14001:2015). His vast professional experience revolves round health protection, improvement and health awareness, ensuring that the public adhere to the standards of healthy living at any cost and location. Most importantly, he is a strong promoter of mental health at work, having been trained a MHFA (Mental Health First Aider), hence the need for professionals prioritising their mental health to ensure maximum and excellent result driven output remains paramount. He is skilled in stress management, mental health trigger identifiers, reflective listening, information gathering, and relaxation techniques.
As a researcher, Fidelis is well grounded in qualitative research and studies. His understanding of the research technique/design has enabled him with successfully coaching students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, from choosing their topics right to mastering all elements of analysis.
He is an Associate member of the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) England, Member of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA), an International Member of Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) and the founder of a non-governmental organisation (Ifeed Charity Network) in Nigeria.
